1986 The Samurai features:

The rig shown above is a 1986 Samurai.

This vehicle is very impressive. The photo was taken in Moab, Utah  on the Golden Spike Trail.

He was just playing around and no, it didn't roll.  (It was up on two wheels, but he turned in to the roll and kept on climbing.)

It is owned by one of our trail companions, Eric S.

Big Bear, Ca. He hasn't reached the highest wheel lift position yet. That happens when the right-rear tire drops into the hole in front of the rock. From there, only locker equipped rigs such as this can complete the climb.
Anti-cline (click-me) This somewhat sedate shot was taken while exploring the Anza Borrego Desert Park in Fish Creek Wash. The famous anticline can be seen in the background.
